Terms of Service
These terms apply to ReplayRec, formerly named Instant Replay, and the features available in your installed version. Please read them before use.
1. Scope & provider
ReplayRec (previously named Instant Replay), Android package cn.orinovatech.replay, is provided under the OrinovaTech brand by the developer identified on its Google Play listing. The developer’s legal name, business address and trader contact details are available in that listing. These terms govern the app; Google Play’s applicable terms also govern use of the store.
2. Eligibility
Follow the age rating and laws that apply where you live. If you cannot legally enter into this agreement on your own, a parent or guardian must review and authorize your use and any purchases.
3. License & content ownership
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use ReplayRec for lawful recording and clip management. The app and its materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. This license does not give you rights to content belonging to other people. Restrictions on copying, modification or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law.
4. Recording responsibly
Record and share only content you are authorized to capture and use. Obtain any consent required from people whose voice, image, communications or personal information may be recorded. Respect copyright, confidentiality, workplace rules and applicable recording laws. Do not use ReplayRec for unlawful surveillance, harassment, infringement or bypassing protected-content restrictions.
Android’s screen-sharing and audio permission prompts authorize device access; they do not grant consent from other people or permission from a copyright owner. Review recordings before sharing. You retain your rights in recordings you lawfully create; we claim no ownership of them.
5. Paid features & subscriptions
Only features actually offered in your installed version are available. Any paid download, in-app purchase, subscription or advertising offer must be disclosed in the app or store before you choose it. These terms do not themselves introduce charges or subscriptions.
For purchases through Google Play, checkout shows the price, currency, applicable taxes and product details. Any subscription must show its billing period, renewal and cancellation terms before purchase. Cancel through Google Play to stop future renewals; uninstalling alone does not cancel a subscription. Access already paid for normally continues for its paid period, subject to applicable law.
6. Cancellation & refunds
For Google Play purchases, use Google Play’s refund process or contact us with the order reference and a description of the issue. Do not send full payment-card details. Refunds, remedies for faulty content and cancellation rights are governed by applicable law and the store’s applicable process; we do not apply a blanket “no refunds” rule.
EEA and UK consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts. For digital content supplied immediately, that right is lost only where the legal conditions are met, including your prior express consent to immediate supply and acknowledgment that this loses the right of withdrawal. Merely accepting these terms does not waive it. Mandatory remedies for content that is faulty, not as described or not supplied remain available.
7. Privacy, storage & recovery
Our Privacy Policy explains screen and audio access, local storage and sharing. Recordings are processed on your device and are not automatically uploaded to us. Sharing a clip passes it to the app you select, whose terms and privacy practices then apply.
Rolling history is temporary and may be overwritten. Recovery depends on retained data and cannot restore content never captured or already deleted. Device failure, lack of storage or interruption can cause loss or incomplete recordings. Keep copies of important saved clips. Clearing app data removes private drafts; uninstalling may leave exported videos in shared storage, which you manage separately.
8. Compatibility & updates
Capture quality and audio availability depend on Android, your device, available storage, permissions and the source app. Protected content and some audio may not be recordable; a complete recording or recovery cannot be guaranteed in every circumstance. These limitations do not exclude mandatory conformity guarantees or remedies.
We provide updates, including security and conformity updates, as required by law. We may make reasonable changes for security, legal compliance or product maintenance, and will give notice, a valid reason and any cancellation or refund remedy where required. We will not use changes to remove mandatory rights to paid content.
9. Stopping use & restrictions
You may stop recording, revoke permissions, stop using the app or uninstall it at any time. Uninstalling alone does not cancel a store subscription. For serious misuse or security risks, we may take proportionate action affecting services we operate, with reasons and an opportunity to contact us where lawful and practicable. This does not authorize us to access or delete recordings on your device. Statutory rights relating to paid features remain protected.
10. Liability & consumer rights
We exercise reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for losses for which applicable law makes us liable. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not limit statutory guarantees, remedies or other mandatory consumer rights, including those in the EEA and UK.
11. Changes & disputes
We will publish revisions with a new date and provide advance notice of material changes where required. Changes will not apply retroactively to remove rights already acquired. Where consent is legally necessary, we will request it separately.
Contact us first about a dispute so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not require arbitration, waive collective remedies, or prevent you from using consumer authorities or courts available under mandatory law, including the competent courts of your place of residence. Translations are intended to have the same meaning; no language version overrides mandatory local rights.
